The magician shows a plaque with a picture of a fishbowl containing two goldfish. He passes the plaque behind his back. When it is displayed again, the fish vanished from the bowl.

The audience is not impressed, for they are sure that the performer has simply turned the plaque around.--- and that the picture with the goldfish is on the other side...

After much comedy by-play, the magician shows the other side of the plaque. This side is also an empty fishbowl... Where did the fish go??

The answer is shown in a surprising way, for when the plaque is turned over again, there is a completely different picture---of the smiling cat who ate the fish!!
