Magician displays a sheet that many numbers printed. While he is turning around, he asks the spectator to choose a number from the sheet and circle it. The sheet is placed over the table, facing down.
Now the magician asks the spectator to think of the chosen number in his/her mind…
Immediately, the magician starts filling out 16 different numbers into 4x4 square grid. The chosen number is NOT used.
Finally, the magic square is completed --- Every row and column adds up to the chosen number. In addition, every diagonal and all of four corners add up to the chosen number. Even the four squares of each corner add up to the chosen number!!
