The magician shows six chips with different patterns and stacks them together, setting them aside. Then, the magician takes out a small envelope, explaining that it contains a prediction card, and hands the envelope to the audience for safekeeping.
The magician covers the stacked chips on the table and asks the audience to shuffle the chips before randomly selecting one. The result is that the chip chosen by the audience matches exactly with the pattern on the prediction card in the envelope!
The magician then says that this prediction card also has a powerful "infection" function. He asks the audience to take the prediction card and touch the remaining chips with it.
Eventually, the audience is invited to turn over the remaining chips, and the result is that all of them have changed to match the pattern on the prediction card.
