There are about a dozen slips of paper with the names of famous cities written on them: London, Paris, New York, Tokyo, Singapore, etc . . .
Magician wraps them up in the handkerchief and has the audience reach in and pull out whichever slip they like.
The magician then tells them exactly which city they have chosen before they even open the paper.

Have the audience choose one card from a deck and remember it. The card is returned to the deck, the deck is shuffled well, and the deck is returned to the card case. The card case and a knife are wrapped together in the handkerchief. The magician shakes the handkerchief. He retrieves the card case and knife from the handkerchief. He opens the card case and, amazingly, every card in the deck has been cut in half except for one -- the one the audience chose!
Many effects can be performed with this handkerchief!
