The magician appears on stage with one cane. In the next moment the cane disappears and changes into a silk.
The magician then tries to take a step forward, but there is something wrong with his leg: he cant bend his knee. He reaches into his pocket to find the problem, and pulls out a cane.
Relieved that he will be able to walk again, he takes another step. . . and is stuck. Again he cant bend his knee. He reaches into his pocket again and this time three canes shoot out of his pocket into the air.
(Another way is:)
From a handful of silks, four canes shoot up into the air.
It is also a nice idea to add this effect after the silk fountain effect.
