As the magician talk about optical illusions, he displays two plastic strips with cats on them.
To the eyes of the spectators, it appears that the two strips stretch and shrink.
For the climax, the magician proves that the two plastic strips have actually changed size.

Since they are printed on magnet sheet, you may use magnetic dry-erase whiteboard for large show. (provide your own whiteboard.)
The audience will be fooled by this effect, but so will the Magician!
