You insert a playing card into a frame, and stick a hollow tube through the card.
When your spectator peeks through the tube, there is nothing but emptiness where the card should be!
You can prove that nothing is there by pushing a pencil straight through the tube. When you remove the tube the hole in the card vanishes instantly!
From the frame, you can remove he card and let it examined.
Now you can perform a close-up version of the stage magic effect.
You'll be able to make the torso of your beautiful assistant (the queen of hearts) vanish while inside of a box!
