This routine combines a geometric vanish with a pack of cards for a comedy close-up routine with a surprising pay-off.
(Effect)
The spectator is asked to select a card from a deck and place it back into the deck.
The magician says, I will find your card using a special method. Then he takes out a big envelope and retrieves 4 puzzle pieces, and he assembles them into a large rectangle to show his prediction.
However, 52 cards are drawn on the puzzle pieces, so his prediction must be correct..
Thats not fair.. says audience, and they point out that there are many other cards shown
The magician says Well, you admit its not a very accurate prediction, but its a good start! Now, please concentrate on your selected card. Perhaps I can guess which one it is, while he starts gathering the puzzle pieces and mixing them. Then the puzzle pieces are placed on the table again.
The magician assembles the puzzle pieces again; however, there is now a space in the center as if the puzzle were missing a card..
The magician points upward, and the audience finds that the selected card is now on the curtain behind the magician!!
