Blue and red decks in the same box?? How can you explain the strange appearance of these decks?

The magician takes out a deck of cards that looks quite strange.
There is a red card case that has a red deck inside, but it also has a blue deck inside. The strange part us that the blue deck is laying across the red cards perpendicularly, with the edges sticking out of the side of the case.
The magician pulls out the blue deck and proves it to be a full deck, so it seems there can't be another full deck inside that case.
However, the magician then pulls out the red deck from the case, which also turned out to be a full deck.
