The brass block penetration has become a staple item in many close-up cases. It is a fooler, a real mystery as well as good Magic effect.
The performer begins by opening a small matchbox with a hole in the center, and removing a match. He closes the drawer and pushes the match through a hole in top of the box, so that it passes completely through the box and out the bottom without any resistance. Nothing too impressed about this….
Now the performer makes a magical gesture towards the matchbox… The performer asks the spectator to copy what the performer just did… (it seems too easy….) As hard as he may try, the match will not pass out the other side of the box.
The match box is now handed to the spectator who finds that it is unusually heavy.
When he opens the box he finds the interior completely filled with a SOLID BRASS BLOCK!
The brass block is removed and examined, as well as the box and the match.
The question remains, how did the performer get this match to pass through the block?
(NOTE)
The design of the matchbox may vary.
