I love packet tricks and this is one that I've been using for years!
Most packet tricks are suspect because you have to take out cards from a wallet no one else has ever been seen to carry. But THIS trick allows for a very good logical reason for carrying extra cards in a wallet. I normally lead into this effect by saying, "As a magician, I go through many decks and I never use the Jokers because they always seem to cause problems. As a result, I end up with a pile of Jokers that I set aside. Here are a few I've collected over the years..." and you can immediately lead into the routine showing why the Jokers are considered 'troublesome'.
At first, when I bought it, I didn't think it would play out well. Then, one day, out of curiosity, I whipped it out and tried it on a crowd and it KILLED! The revelation of the final card with all 5 jokers on it is insane! People scream and rub their eyes when they see it!
The cards left in your hand are not examinable however, but because of the impact of the final revelation, people will be very much focused on the '5 Joker' card and they will be clamoring to examine it; this gives you ample time to quietly ditch the cards into your pocket; out of sight, out of mind.
The cards themselves are VERY WELL MADE, as per usual with anything by Ton Onosaka. I have been using the SAME set of cards for over 4 years now and they still look alright. It is of a plastic stock; very durable and wonderful to handle with a smooth finish.
I highly recommend that you pick this one up!
