I totally agree with William, these are absolutely the best thumbtips for silks and streamers. Don't use them for bill switches, the billets will get stuck more or less. Just use the old famous hard plastic Vernet style thumbtip to change a bill.
I use the Large model of this thumbtip for making a lit cigarette vanish. You can do it over and over, the cigarette will not burn a hole in the tip.
You almost never see the Salz model here in Europe. The Large model is very common though.
