Like the other reviewers have mentioned this is made out of paper, sort of stiff card stock, but should last a long time if treated gently. It does indeed pack small. I find that it works the best as a bill changing device. I have not had much success using it with silks, even small ones as they just seem too bulky for the size and material of the gimmick.
