The price is high, but the illusion is great. It is suitable for up front or small stage where everyone is in front of you and not standing to the sides or behind. The cup makes a very loud 'TING!"which can be heard throughout the room. It does take practice and is not self-working at any level. The cup isn't required and anything can be used in its place, providing it's not breakable and has certain characteristics to it. Yea, it's over 100 bucks, but yea, it's really fun and looks great.
