Wow, all I can say is wow! This beautiful piece of doll magic goes beyond words. It's heirloom quality and I imagine will become highly sought after one day, at this price it's a steal. Just add to cart while you still can.
The doll is a hand puppet. It doesn't come with instructions but is so simple to figure out. your hand goes into a hemmed slit on the back of the blanket. Your thumb and pinkie go into the baby's forearms, the grip very similar to that of a thumbtip gimmick. The middle fingers go into its head. You'll be amazed at how realistic you can make it move and appear. I almost freaked myself out while playing with it. It is very well made, high quality materials and expertly crafted. The baby itself is gorgeous, its eyes and face painted so perfectly, absolutely adorable. It's not made to look like a real baby, only act like one. This balance between real and fake of this prop is masterful and with practice can be very magical. You know it's a doll but it moves so realistically. You can make the doll grab things, peek in and out of the blanket, clap, direct its head to look anywhere, on and on.
If you want a unique piece of magic at a bargain price, this one gets my highest recommendation.
