Normally, a Tenyo trick as clever as this gets 5 stars, but due to its plastic, not so pretty, clunky to open, I'm subtracting 1 star. For self-amusement and kid-level magic props it's a good one. I'm curious how many do what I did when I peeked into the box, rotating it with the lid open to see how the clever thing worked. I knew it had something to do with the rotation direction of the box but there's something else that caught me off guard, made me laugh and made the method that much more clever.
This gets my 2025 award for Tenyo's most plasticy, noisy, proppy, yet something I love about Tenyo. Plastic self-working props take me back to my younger days and a trademark of Tenyo, there's always one each year for the nerd in us.
