I don't agree with the other reviewer. The box looks like stiff cardboard to me in the photo and in the video. However, he actually got this specific prop, I did not. Mine was made by a master craftsman in our magic club and uses five ropes rather than four. So I can only review the effect, rather than the prop.
This effect is better than I anticipated. I didn't expect this would get a good reaction by those I showed it too, but I have been wrong. Everyone has liked it.
The one I have that is made in fine wood by my friend would easily cost over $100 USD (I got it from him as a gift). So if this prop being sold here is sturdy—and it looks like sturdy cardboard—I'd say this is a bargain! The effect on the audience is the same whether it is made of fine hardwoods or sturdy cardboard. From the video, it looks very presentable, not cheap.
